The Story

IVY OXFORD was born in Milan in 1959, founded by Luigi Cappio, with a first collection of jackets and coats inspired by American military style. In 1970, distribution expanded nationwide with a range of casual yet formal menswear in quality fabrics. The 1980s marked the brand's consolidation in the Italian market.
In 1998, the brand became the exclusive licensee of Schott NYC for American pilot jackets in Italy. From 2002, waterproof and wrinkle-resistant jackets were introduced; in 2009, the range expanded to include belts, bags, scarves and hats.
Positioning
Since 2019, the current owner TANTAROBA SRL, led by CEO Carlo Mantori, aims to restore the brand to its former glory by developing international markets across all 5 continents.
Heritage
IVY OXFORD is a brand known for its casual and sporty style, easy to wear and ideal for everyday life, the office, or a relaxing walk in the countryside. Inspired by the iconic British universities and the Ivy League of the 1960s and 70s, the brand has created some products that have become true classics: the peacock jacket, the iconic button-down shirts, and a range of outerwear born since its founding with American sports logos and military inspirations.
Today IVY OXFORD represents a state of mind: independent, cultured and contemporary.
